Breath of Fire III, Buresu obu Faia Suri, is a console RPG for the Playstation developed and published by Capcom. It is the third title in the popular 'Breath of Fire' RPG series and is the first in the series to feature 3D graphics and character models. Due to the game's large success, it was later ported to the Playstation Portable in 2006. Breath of Fire III is set in an unnamed fantasy world and follows the adventures of Ryu, a young boy with the mysterious ability to transform into dragons. The game's story is told in two parts, the first being when Ryu was a child and the second when he is an adult. Traditional themes of 'Trying to find one's idenetity' are weaved in with the story as well. The Beath of Fire III soundtrack was composed by Akari Kaida and Yoshino Aoki and has some great tunes on it. The game was originally released in Japan on September 11 1997, in North America on April 30, 1998 and in Europe on October 8, 1998. The game earned a 73.75% on Gamerankings. Not soo shabby.
