Castlevania 3: Dracula’s Curse Original Soundtrack OST

 Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse OST

Platform: Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)

Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse is actually the prequel to the entire Castlevania series. It is set 215 years before the events of Castlevania 1, and 100 years before the events of Castlevania Adventure. The game stars Simon Belmont's ancestor, Trevor Belmont. The game consists of 15 levels, and you have 4 characters that you can play as. There are two paths in the game that a player can take- one easier, 'upper' path, and one difficult, 'lower' path. Both will lead you to your ultimate faceoff with Dracula, though.

The game is set in ancient Europe. Dracula has led his army of monsters through the countryside and is ravaging everything in his path, so the church calls Trevor Belmont, a famous Vampire Hunter. He is joined by a priestess who is capable of casting damaging spells, but has horrible melee attacks, a pirate who is capable of climbing up walls and changing direction in mid-jump, and Alucard, Dracula's son. Alucard can transform into a bat or spit fireballs. Trevor and his companions go through Dracula's castle, defeating his minions and then they finally fight him. You get a different ending depending on which of the three ally characters you have with you.

The game was released on December 22nd, 1989 in Japan , September 1st, 1990 in the United States, and December 10th, 1992 in Europe. It received a 8.7 rating on Gamefaqs, and has no rating on Gamerankings.com.
