Mass Effect is a unique sci-fi themed action role playing game by Bioware originally released for the Xbox 360 and later for the PC. Mass Effect is set in the year 2183 where the player assumes control of an elite human soldier named Commander Shepard whose mission is to explore the Galaxy on his ship, the SSV Normandy. The game's underlything themes include Space exploration, colonization, vigilantism and 'man-vs-machine'. Mass Effect was released in North America on November 20th, 2007 and in Europe on November 23, 2007. The game was extremely well received, as it earned a score of 91% from GameRankings and sold well over 2 million copies. The game's Original Soundtrack was composed and produced by Jack Wall and Sam Hulick and featured music by Richard Jacques and David Kates.
