Ace Combat 6 follows a fictional war set between two nations. They are the Republic of Emmeria and the Federal Republic of Estovakia on the Anean continent. The game starts with the invasion of the Emmerian capitol by the Estovakians. The player takes control of the leader of 'Gardua' squadron, nicknamed 'Talisman', and fights through the war between both countries.
