Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow is the sequel to Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. The character again takes control of Soma Cruz, who believes that he has lost his inherited Dracula powers. A year has passed since he defeated Dracula and sealed his castle away in a solar eclipse. The game allows you to play as Soma or his allies, including Alucard. It also makes use of the DS touch-screen, using the stylus to cast 'Magical Seals' during boss battles.

The game was released on August 5th, 2005 in Japan, September 30th, 2005 in the United States, and October 4th, 2005 in Europe. It recieved a 89.99% Rating on Gamerankings.com
