The first '3d' rendition of the Contra series manages to capture the charm of the original games in an exceptional manner. Players take control of one of the commandos from the original game, who was framed for a crime he did not commit and sentenced to 10,000 years of punishment in a cryo-prison. Sadly, 5 years into his sentence a new threat arises: A terrorist group lead by a super-powerful leader. The twists and turns in the story of this game, and its ability to capture the charm of the original Contra games makes it a worthwhile game to play.
