Players take control of a nameless hero as he sets out across the land to defeat the evil that has gripped it. The 'evil' is that of the Drakkhen caste members, who rule from fortresses that make up the dungeons of the game. Drakkhen is unique in that it had a very confusing story and most of the NPCs and Characters in the game made absurd noises when spoken to. Along with this, it has a very difficult enemy that roams around and randomly attacks you named the 'Shadow Man'. Even though it has its shortcomings, the game did good enough that it warranted a sequel being released.
