Final Fantasy 4 DS Original Soundtrack OST
Platforms: Nintendo DS
Final Fantasy IV DS, called Fainaru Fantaji Fo in Japan, is an 'enhanced remake' of the original Final Fantasy IV game for the DS. The game was developed by Matrix Software, who also made the Final Fantasy III remake for the DS, but was supervised by members of the original Final Fantasy IV development team. The game featured entirely new graphics and enhanced audio from the original and lots of other additions. The game still uses the active time battle system and the story from the original game. The game's story takes place in a fantasy world which consists of a surface world, called overworld, and a subterranean world, called Underworld. The game's primary protagonist is a Dark Knight named Cecil who serves the king. The game was released in Japan on December 20th, 2007, in North America on July 22nd, 2008 and in Europe on September 5th, 2008. The game's soundtrack was composed by the series veteran, Nobuo Uematsu. Both the game and its audio was largely well received, as Final Fantasy IV DS sold over a million copies worldwide and earned a score of 85.31% on Gamerankings.
