Wild Arms 2, called Wild Arms: 2nd Ignition or Wairudo Amuzu Sekando Igunisshon in Japan, is a western themed steampunk RPG for the playstation 1 developed by Media Vision and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It is the second game in the Wild Arms series. The game's plot revolves around an international anti-terrorist group called ARMS that has to stop the terrorist organization called Odessa from wrecking havoc on the world. The game's main characters are Ashley, Lilka and Brad who are recruited by ARMS to help combat Odessa. The game is set in the fantasy world of Filgaia, which is a planet that closely resembles the American Old West with a splash of sci-fi and steampunk elements. The game wasn't well received by many critics, as it earned an average score of 68% from Game Rankings. Wild Arms 2 was released in Japan on September 2nd, 1999 and in North America on April 30th, 2000.
