Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising is the second game in the popular turn based strategy series. Like its predecessor, Advance Wars 2 was developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo for the Gameboy Advance. Gameplay is nearly identical with the objective of defeating all enemies by either destroying all their units or capturing their HQ. There are various new units including the Neotank along with enhanced multiplayer features. Black Hole Rising carries on the tradition of a well crafted plot and picks up where the first game left off. The four nations of Macro Land are still recovering from the recent war while The Black Hole Army is already ready to launch a fresh offensive. Players must defeat the invaders on every country than take the fight to the enemy home base. The game was released in the USA in 2003 but, like the original, did not see a Japanese release until 2004.
