Castlevania Legends is the third hand-held Castlevania game. It takes place before any of the Castlevania games, and stars the first female member of the Belmont family, Sonia. She is tasked with killing Dracula, and is aided by Dracula's half-vampire son, Alucard. This game removed the sub-weapon system, adding a special Magic System. It also added a 'Burning Mode' where Sonia became invincible, dealt more damage, and moved faster.
The game was released on November 27th, 1997 in Japan, and March 11th, 1998 in the United States. It recieved a rating of 57.17% on Gamerankinsg.com.
