Final Fantasy Adventure Original Soundtrack OST
Platforms: Game Boy
Final Fantasy Adventure, called Mystic Quest in Europe and Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden in Japan, is the first game in the RPG 'Mana' series and a spin off of the Final Fantasy series. Its core gameplay is more like an action RPG like the original Legend of Zelda rather than a traditional 'Final Fantasy' style RPG. The game's story surrounds the unnamed hero and heroine as they try and stop the Dark Lord of Glaive and his sorcerer ally Julius from destroying the 'Tree of Mana' which would doom the world. Final Fantasy Adventure was released in Japan on June 8th, 1991, in North America on November 1st, 1991 and in Europe a few years later in 1993. Since the game was released on the GameBoy, both the games visuals and audio were limited by the weak Gameboy hardware, but the game's musical score is well worth checking out. The game still earned an impressive 86.70% on Gamerankings.
