Players take control of a tactician who is set deep in a war between two neighboring nations. The player must gather items and equipment to make their characters more powerful and defeat a antagonistic force dubbed 'Black Fang', who has been striking out against the kingdom. The 'Black Fang' kills people to steal their 'life essence' so that they can create powerful monsters to server them, and the player must stop them. The game did relatively well in the united states , scoring an 80-85% on most video game ranking websites.
