Hundreds of years prior to the game's present, the Dark Lord Loputosu conquered the continent. Hundreds of thousands were massacred and sacrificed to the Dark God. However, the gods descended and blessed the Twelve Crusaders, who defeated the Lopt Empire. The Twelve Crusaders subsequently established seven dukedoms in Grandbell and five regional kingdoms. Players are introduced to the game later in, taking control of a character during a war between two neighboring nations.  Players will fight the many battles of this war, seeing the twists and turns and the way characters evolve.
