Resident Evil 4 is the sixth game in the Resident Evil franchise. In RE4, the player takes control of Leon Kennedy, who has become a special agent for the United States Government after the events in Racoon City. Leon is tasked with rescuing the president's daughter from a cult of crazed villagers, called 'Los Illuminados'. Leon travels to a unnamed European locale to rescue the president's daughter, and finds out that things are not as they seem in the quiet little village.

The game was released on January 11th, 2005 in the United States, January 27th, 2005 in Japan, and March 18th, 2005 in Europe. It recieved a rating of  90.6% on Gamerankings.com
