Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage is the second installment of the Spyro franchise on the Sony Playstation. In the game, players take control of the young dragon named Spyro. He has been teleported out of his homeland of the Dragon Lands and must stop the evil, dinosaur-riding sorceror named Ripto from enslaving the people of the world he has been pulled into, undoing the damage the evil sorcerer has done. Throughout the game, Spyro helps the denizens of the world and attempts to defeat Ripto, just to find a way home.


The game was released on November 2nd, 1999 in the United States, November 5th, 1999 in Europe, and March 16th, 2009 in Japan. It receive a rating of 86.57% on Gamerankings.com
