Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl are the fifth installment to the popular Pokemon RPG series. Both games have a total of 493 different species of pokemon and a large world to explore. Perhaps one of the most interesting additions to the series is Nintendo DS WI-fi, which allows players to battle against other players online through the DS Wifi network. Unfortunately, like all of the Pokemon Games before it, both Diamond and Pearl feature much of the same gameplay that all Pokemon fans should be accustomed to by now. The games sold a whopping 15 million units worldwide and received generally favorable reviews. Diamond and Pearl was released in Japan on September 28th, 2006, in North America on April 22, 2007 and in Europe on July 27, 2007. The game's soundtrack was scored by Hitomi Sato and Junichi Masuda.
