Tales of Destiny, called Teiruzu obu Desutini in Japan, in an action RPG and is the second major title in the critically acclaimed Tales franchise. The game's plot begins when the game's protagonist Stahn Aileron, a country-boy, meets up with other like minded adventurers to stop the forces of evil. Like it's predecessor, Tales of Phantasia, Tales of Destiny incorporates the same real time battle system on a 2D plane. Due to the game's success, Namco released a remake of the game for the Playstation 2 on November 30, 2006. The game was fairly well received as it earned a 75.7% from GameRankings.Tales of Destiny was released in Japan on December 23, 1997 and in North America on September 30, 1998.
