Players take control of one of seven characters in this action-packed RPG. They must make their way through the world completely quests to earn money, equipment, and items to make themselves more powerful. The combat system of Unlimited Saga was revolutionary because it used a turn-based 'reel' system for each character. Depending on what 'reels' were used, the player's characters would use various attacks. The game was not well received outside of Japan, and it has been plagued with mediocre ratings and sales.
