God of War is an action adventure game for the playstation 2. Players take control of Kratos, a great Spartan general who has been betrayed by Ares and is out to get his revenge on the God of War. Players kill their way through armies of mythological monsters and traverse through multiple levels that are based on Greek Myth. The action and the background of this game make it wonderful, and it has done extremely well in the United States, scoring 90-95% on most video game websites and spawning several sequels.
