Players once again take control of the only good cops in town, taking back the streets from the criminals in this sequel to Streets of Rage. It is set a year after they have defeated the evil Mr. X, dissolving his grip on the city. Adam, from the first game, has gone missing and his little brother , Skate, joins Axel and Blaze as they once again set out to defeat Mr. X and return law and order to the city. The game was released on December 20th, 1992 in North America and did well enough that another sequel was made.
